FAQ
Does Vin & Miles upload my photos?
No. Every photo is analyzed entirely on your iPhone using Apple's Vision Framework. Nothing is uploaded, stored, or sent anywhere.
What photos does it look for?
Three categories only: VIN plates, odometer/mileage shots, and stock number stickers. It does not flag general lot photos, customer photos, or vehicle exterior shots.
Will it delete photos automatically?
Never. The app finds and groups photos, but every deletion requires your tap. You review what's been identified before anything is removed.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Open iOS Settings, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions. Find Vin & Miles and tap Cancel. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
How do I get a refund?
All purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process refunds directly.
The app missed some photos that should have been flagged.
The model improves over time. You can manually flag missed photos in-app, and we use that signal (anonymously, on-device) to make the next version better. Email us if you're seeing consistent misses on a specific photo type.
The app flagged photos that shouldn't have been flagged.
Don't tap delete. Use the "Keep" option to dismiss the flag. Nothing is deleted without your review.
Does this work on Android?
Not yet. iOS only at launch. Android is on the roadmap.
